We are proud to announce that SPIE Energotest has been awarded the prestigious Chamber of Commerce for Energy and Environmental Protection (IGEOŚ) Cup for the APZplus Automatic Transfer Switching System operating on the EPROTECT platform. The award was presented during the opening ceremony of the 37th ENERGETAB 2024 International Power Industry Fair as part of the competition for the most outstanding product of the year.
APZplus is the latest automatic transfer switching system developed by SPIE Energotest. It is designed for MV and LV switchgear supplying industrial and technological installations.
APZplus is a natural successor to our flagship AZRS and APZ systems, which have been widely recognised in the Polish power industry for many years. Our 30 years of experience and more than 4,000 installed units demonstrate our commitment, expertise, and strong market position.
In APZplus, our proven algorithms for improving switching reliability have been implemented on a modern hardware platform. The project was co-financed by European Funds, enabling us to introduce a range of advanced solutions, including modern communication protocols, enhanced cybersecurity features, and innovative configuration and control capabilities. The device combines the key strengths of its predecessors: the speed of AZRS systems, including quasi-synchronous switching, and the versatility of APZ systems, supporting up to 10 circuit breakers.
To date, more than 200 APZplus units have been delivered to over 30 customers, including more than 60 units supplied to a demanding client from the petrochemical sector.
What truly sets us apart is our ability to implement highly complex switching schemes, including solutions that no other company has undertaken to develop. We are ready to take on any challenge in the field of automatic power supply switching.
