System for control and supervision and central management of RES Installations.
We are proud to announce that the control system produced by SPIE Energotest won first place in the "Energy and Critical Infrastructure" category at the prestigious zenonIZE 2025 event, held on 1-2 October in Salzburg.
On the basis of years of experience, we have developed a distributed energy facility management system with the following functionalities:
- compliance with NCRfG network code requirements,
- energy production prediction,
- facility operation management,
- power guard,
- active power regulation with reactive power compensation,
- operation within the balancing market,
- advanced reporting,
- performance analysis (point of operation),
- maintenance module - notifications/ticket handling,
- facility balancing in off-grid mode,
- energy storage systems management,
- advanced tracker operation algorithms,
- oversizing,
- cable pooling,
- group control of renewable energy facilities,
- facility operation scheduling (setting operating parameters
for renewable energy facilities in specific time intervals), - cooperation with the Polish Power Exchange (price arbitrage),
- justified periods,
- calculation of KPI,
- cooperation with LFC/SOWE systems in the provision
of balancing services: FCR, aFRR, mFRR, and RR.
The ECONTROLoze system is designed for the central, group management of RES installations, including photovoltaic and wind farms, energy storage facilities, biogas plants, cogeneration units, as well as entire energy clusters.
The system is designed to accelerate Poland's energy transition by digitising the management of distributed RES installations. It enables real-time monitoring, remote control, back-up power management and optimisation of generated profits. Integrated with weather forecasts and data from the Polish Power Exchange (POLPX), it supports production forecasting for 24-72 hours and reacts dynamically to price signals. The system enables communication with power grid operators and allows for the control and regulation of individual generation sources, including the possibility of shutdown by the grid operator, e.g. in the event of a transmission grid failure. The solution is compatible with European NC RfG standards.
Additional functions
- generation of reports defined at the project stage,
- possible implementation of a tool allowing the editing of already existing reports as well as adding new ones. Reports can be presented in various graphic forms (charts, tables, mixed reports),
- support for auxiliary installations (by prior agreement on the control algorithms), such as automatic installations for cleaning photovoltaic panels, animal repellent installations, etc,
- sending selected information to mobile devices. The appearance and functions available in the app are configured according to the specifics of the installation supported.
SYSTEM SECURITY
All critical system components can be redundant (servers, network devices, power supplies, hard drives, communication channels, etc.). Diagnosis of all network devices via SNMP protocol is possible (device status, status of individual ports, network traffic statistics, reporting to syslog file). Computers can be equipped with anti-virus software, as well as have automated tools for making backups, or entire disk images, so that the system can be quickly rebuilt after a disaster.

Microgrid MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The microgrid management system was developed in response to the need of Investors and with reference to market trends that encourage electricity producers to self-consume electricity. The solution allows for:
- effective energy management by balancing energy production with the current demand of the microgrid,
- savings resulting from the lack of outages of RES sources,
- improved efficiency by adjusting the operation of individual inverters,
- improving energy quality,
- predicting energy production and consumption.
BALANCING AND AUTOCONSUMPTION OF PRODUCED ENERGY
Depending on the configuration of the microgrid installation, the ECONTROLoze management system allows independence from external electricity suppliers, maximisation of electricity production or management of autoconsumption and balancing of electricity.
The system allows real-time tracking of energy production from renewable generation sources, such as photovoltaic panels and/or wind turbines, and management of backup power sources (e.g. gas generator, diesel generator) and energy storage, as well as consumers who are the main beneficiaries of the microgrid system. The use of different operating scenarios for the microgrid management system, such as maximum electricity production, maximum time to supply consumers in islanding mode or consumer prioritisation, increases the efficiency of the implemented system. Thanks to the use of a weather station and connection to a weather forecast server, it is possible to predict (up to 72 hours) the production of individual generation sources as well as the utilisation rate of energy storage.

ENERGY TRADING
Through the use of a RES management system, the user is able to decide on the charging/discharging of energy storage in correlation with the current electricity price, thereby optimising costs/profit generation (by purchasing electricity at a lower price and selling it at a higher price). The process of charging /discharging of the storage can be optimised by means of predefined thresholds, making the system virtually unmanned, but allowing for ongoing monitoring.
COMPLETE REALISATION OF SITUATIONS
Our offer includes the comprehensive realisation of control rooms for central control systems of distributed RES installations, providing customers with full support from design to implementation. We specialise in the design and construction of state-of-the-art control rooms that meet the highest quality and safety standards.
We offer design development and implementation of all auxiliary installations, e.g. fire, air conditioning and others. Our solutions also include ergonomic workstations adapted to the needs of the operators, resulting in increased efficiency and comfort.
