EKM_Smart converter

ENERGOTEST Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością is implementing a project co-financed by European Funds entitled "Construction of EKM_Smart converter for Ethernet type communication buses using multiple protocols".

The objective of the project is to carry out industrial research and development work resulting in an innovative EKM_Smart converter, which will enable adaptation of devices equipped only with RS serial communication ports to the requirements of the Ethernet network and support a large number and variety of communication protocols used in devices and master systems.

The EKM_Smart converter will also enable the implementation of own or external dedicated protocols. The product will be adapted to the provisions of the new Act on the National Cyber Security System, which implements into the Polish legal order the so-called NIS Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on measures for a high common level of security of networks and information systems within the Union. This directive orders critical infrastructure operators to adapt their IT systems and network infrastructure to the latest requirements.
