DESIGN OF POWER OUTPUT SYSTEMS

The SPIE Energotest Design and Analysis Division provides clients with the highest quality design services, developed continuously since 2000. Using advanced design expertise, we offer support in power automation and power system design. With our broad portfolio, covering both conventional and renewable energy sources, we are a key partner in the power transformation. Cooperation with us means access to innovative solutions and expertise, which translates into the efficiency and reliability of your projects.

Our core area of competence in RES is the comprehensive development of detailed designs for power derivation systems and telemechanical systems for RES facilities. In these systems, there are, on the one hand, distributed RES sources from which the produced electricity has to be collected at "one point" and, on the other hand, there is an existing distribution or transmission network to which the RES is to be connected. Each time the integration of RES into the NPS requires the adaptation of the existing power infrastructure of the Operator or Investor for the needs of this source under the previously obtained Connection Conditions.

A well-designed power lead-out from RES installations ensures maximum efficiency of energy transmission, minimising energy losses and thus increasing the overall system efficiency. It also reduces operating costs by reducing the need for maintenance and repairs associated with overloads and failures.

As part of our offerings aimed at RES, we perform:

  • concepts and basic designs,
  • construction designs including formal and legal documentation and necessary administrative decisions and branch arrangements,
  • detailed designs,
  • as-built documentation.

CABLE RESIZING / CABLE POOLING

Benefits of PV (photovoltaic) resizing projects include optimised energy efficiency, better utilisation of available space and reduced capital and operating costs. Cablepooling, the sharing of cable infrastructure between different renewable energy sources, allows for more efficient management of energy transmission, reducing the cost of building new transmission lines. In this respect, SPIE Energotest's offer includes the development of documentation for RES source resizing (mainly applies to PV sources) and participation in arrangements with the Operator of the proposed solution.

Contract Engineer (SUPERVISION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVESTMENT)

The function of the contract engineer includes the supervision of various elements of a given investment for the Investor - the construction works and the quality of their execution, the documentation prepared and the compliance of the works and formal issues with the applicable procedures (the contract engineer focuses here on the Construction Law and the EU).
