XXII Conference - 2019
On 24 - 26 April 2019, another seminar was held at the Mercure Kasprowy Hotel in Zakopane. The leading topic was "National implementation of the ENTSO-E Grid Codes from the connection area".
Due to the importance and complexity of the issue of the Grid Codes, this year a seminar programme board was established, which, in addition to Energotest, includes representatives of PSE, PSE Innowacje, Silesian University of Technology, Tauron-Dystrybucja, PGE Dystrybucja, Energa Operator and ENEA Wytwarzanie. The organiser of the conference was Energotest sp. z o.o. from Gliwice. The substantive patronage was held by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne SA. The seminar was attended by more than 270 participants representing the Polish commercial (transmission, distribution, generation) and industrial electric power industry, engineering companies, academic centres and cooperating companies. Participants received sets of printed seminar materials.
Participants of the meeting were welcomed and the session was officially opened by Energotest President Arkadiusz Klimowicz. The session was chaired by Michal Kazmierczak - Marketing Director.
The evening meeting was enriched by many attractions, including a performance of a classical quartet and a Brazilian samba show.
During the Seminar, in accordance with the existing tradition, the seminar participants were immortalised in a joint photograph in the open air. The sensational weather conditions and the wonderful aura of the winter capital of Poland provided excellent conditions for this regular item of the annual seminar.
After the last session, during dinner, the chairman of the organising committee, Michał Kaźmierczak, conveyed words of thanks to the participants, especially to the authors of the papers and the participants in the discussions. Commemorative corporate gifts were also presented to the authors of the three best papers. They were selected on the basis of questionnaires completed by the participants.

The seminar was very much appreciated by the participants. The opinion was expressed that the "Automation in Electrical Power Engineering" seminar was a unique event, the best meeting of its kind in the national power industry.
