APZplus is the latest device for automatic power supply switching developed by SPIE Energotest. It is designed for MV and LV switchgear supplying industrial and technological installations. APZplus is a natural successor to our flagship products, AZRS and APZ, which have been well recognised in the Polish power industry for many years. Our 30 years of experience and over 4,000 installed units demonstrate our strong market position and commitment to quality.
In APZplus, our proven algorithms for improving switching reliability have been implemented on a modern hardware platform. The project was co-financed by European Funds, enabling the introduction of advanced solutions such as modern communication protocols, enhanced cybersecurity features, and innovative configuration and control capabilities.
The device combines the key advantages of its predecessors:

Standardised schematics for industrial applications
The system supports both standard configurations (explicit and implicit reserve) as well as non-standard layouts with up to 10 circuit breakers. It can also control generator sets.
The automation logic is configured by the manufacturer during production to match the specific switchgear system. Upon customer request, additional functions and logic can be easily implemented.
On-site users can adjust the operating mode by enabling or disabling selected switching operations.
The device is equipped with voltage inputs of 57.7/100 V and optional 5 A current inputs (current measurement is performed via an external current-to-voltage converter).
To date, more than 200 APZplus units have been delivered to over 30 customers, including more than 60 units supplied to a demanding petrochemical client.
