The use of a dedicated disturbance recorder on wind farms is important to improve the efficiency and stability of their operation. The disturbance recorder, manufactured by SPIE Energotest, allows precise detection and analysis of disturbance conditions including power swings, which in extreme situations can even lead to damage to wind turbines and other components. Thanks to disturbance recorders, it is possible to quickly identify the sources of problems and take appropriate corrective action. In addition, these devices support predictive maintenance of equipment, which reduces the risk of failure and minimises the costs associated with unplanned downtime. As a result, wind farms can operate more reliably and efficiently, resulting in greater profitability of RES investments.
