A paper was presented during the XXV Conference "Electrical Power Automation in the Age of Transformation" on advanced applications of АВ automation in multi-switch switchgears, realised on the basis of automatic APZplus.

The paper describes in detail the development of АВР automatics devices designed by SPIE Energotest, starting from the first solutions developed within ZPBE Energopomiar to the latest generations of APZplus automatics. Specific examples of applications in complex field systems are presented and key functionalities for fast and reliable power switching are discussed.
The importance of ATS automation in ensuring the continuity of power supply and operational safety of the power infrastructure, especially under conditions of increasing requirements for system reliability and flexibility, was highlighted.
